Cassin's Finch ~ While on the east side of the Sierras, I drove up to Virginia Lakes Resort. They have a bird feeder there, and I sat and watched for quite awhile, to see what would show up. Although there were several female Cassin's Finches, this was the only male to show up, with its pretty colors.
Mountain Chickadee ~ This chickadee was photographed at the feeder at Virginia Lakes Resort, on the east side of the Sierras.
Yellow-eyed Junco ~ Most of the juncos we see are Dark-eyed Juncos, but in some mountainous areas in Southeast Arizona, the Yellow-eyed Junco is the more common. This one was photographed on Mount Lemmon in the Santa Catalina Mountains out of Tucson.
