Song Sparrow ~ True to his name, this sparrow was singing happily in the shrubbery at Descanso Gardens, and then popped out to hop around, seed-hunting, in the walkway. He paused a couple of times for his picture to be taken
Spotted Towhee ~ This towhee seemed to be about the most commonly seen and heard bird at Descanso Gardens this week. This one held still long enough for a quick camera shutter click. I love his red eye.
