Lake Moraine ~ The lake is surrounded by craggy peaks, and has the turquoise-blue color in the water. A hike around the lake afforded beautiful views.
~ It was a cloudy and overcast day, and I wondered out loud whether Lake Louise could possibly have its famous turquoise-blue color without a shred of blue sky overhead. Yep, it sure did! Early morning, the lake was glass-smooth, and the reflections were amazing. Would have like a better sky, but you take what you get out there!
