I stopped for a little afternoon birding in Whitewater Canyon Preserve. The colors were wonderful for January 2nd, and the light made for beautiful reflections. 1/3/19 Judith Sparhawk
This photograph was taken on a hike in San Timoteo Canyon the other day. Sadly, the green winter hillsides are already turning brown, but wildflowers continue. This hillside is covered with Wild Mustard, with its yellow flowers. In a few places the mustard plants had grown to about 8 feet high. 4/26/19 Judith Sparhawk
When I was out at San Jacinto Wildlife Area the other day, some areas were just covered with this type of yellow wildflower. This is one of the ponds of this wetlands area in all its Spring glory. 4/1/19 Judith Sparhawk
