Pastel Morning in the Dunes ~ A soft look at White Sands National Monument, with dune after dune extending into the distance.
~ Wonderful textures in the sand dunes, frozen in place on an early morning shoot at White Sands, New Mexico. I liked the contrast of the white dunes and the mountains beyond. It was so cold that morning that the sand was frozen, making it easy walking (for sand), but very chilly to be out too long.
Sunrise at White Sands ~ Nice color in the sky, despite clouds covering the rising sun. Amazing white sand dunes to explore, climb, photograph.
