Seascape at The Rock ~
~ Looking across the bay at Morro Rock, known locally as "The Rock", the mist blowing off the wave tops formed rainbows in the early morning sun. I understand that these are really called "sunbows", since they aren't caused by rain. No matter, it was a beautiful sight.
The Perfect Wave ~ I made a trip up the coast this week, up as far as Morro Bay. I was out early for birding, and was astounded by the high surf and the beauty of the waves. The breeze whipped up mist from the wave tops. I couldn't stop shooting the waves--each one unique and beautiful.
