On the road inland toward Solvang, the hills are dotted with large old gnarled oak trees, many adorned with hanging moss. This old snag is an example, with woodpecker holes and moss.
This great old tree was photographed from the park at Los Alamos, CA. I loved all the gnarled branches, bending every which way.
The early morning sunlight shines through this grove of cypress trees that runs along the shore of Morro Bay, CA. I have always liked the look of the trees with the trail through them. On this particular morning there was a walker on the trail. 12/16/18 Judith Sparhawk
