Among the Redwoods ~ This shot looking up among the redwood trees was at Jedediah Smith State Park. Being a little more inland, we had blue sky! It was lovely seeing the blue through the green needles, the sun dappling the redwood trunks.
On the road inland toward Solvang, the hills are dotted with large old gnarled oak trees, many adorned with hanging moss. This old snag is an example, with woodpecker holes and moss.
This great old tree was photographed from the park at Los Alamos, CA. I loved all the gnarled branches, bending every which way.
