~ I happened on this stalk of Agapanthus coming up through the frond of a big tree fern. Even though some of the flowers are wilted, I liked the way the colors contrasted with the leafy green.

~ These poppies were 5 to 6 inches across, a dazzling crinkled white among the purple verbena blooms. Just lovely.
