When wandering in Costco, aside from my reputed loitering in the liquor department, I also stopped at the floral department and captured a few roses. It seems every time I pull out my cell phone to shoot the flowers, the flower lady pops up and asks if she can help me. Where are the clerks when you really need one? At any rate, I liked the deep pink of these roses and wanted to share them. 11/17/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
These pretty yellow flowers were photographed in a schoolyard in Redlands on election day. I had seen them blooming a few places in town, but hadn't been able to get a close look at them. I don't know what they are, but I'm sure one or more of our Smuggers will know. It doesn't look like a flower that I would expect to see in November somehow. Then we had a two day cold snap and rainstorm, and suddenly the yellow flowers were gone! 11/19/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Pink Sunday for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Just about everyone has, or knows someone who has, been affected by this disease. It is good to be reminded now and then about the need for research and advances in treatment. This pink post is in remembrance of Tina Marie Gardner who spurred us on in this regard, and who asked that we remember her on this day when she knew she would no longer be here to remind us. Think Pink! 10/25/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
