This large aloe plant was in the Desert Garden at Huntington Library gardens. I liked the sunlight coming through the sharp edges, making them glow red.
I keep running across more photos from the Desert Garden at Huntington Library gardens. This one shows many types of cactus and other plants--something to see everywhere you look.
I wasn't necessarily going to put up this shot, but after arctangent's comment yesterday about the barrel cactus "running rampant, running riot, running wild", I decided to put this one up as a perfect example of this. My name for this one comes from the old childhood rhyme about The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe--she had so many children she didn't know what to do!
