This is one of the blooming cactus plants in the garden at Huntington Library in the Pasadena, CA area. It was quite different from most cactus blooms I have seen. 12/28/18 Judith Sparhawk
When visiting Huntington Library, I practically never make it into any of the several great museums, as I love the gardens so much. My first stop is always the cactus and succulent garden. This shot was taken there. I was surprised by how many cactus plants had blooms, as I always think of them as flowering in spring. I liked the cheery, perky look of this flower. 12/23/18 Judith Sparhawk
This cactus was photographed at Huntington Library in the Pasadena, CA area. It is probably the spikiest cactus ever! And amid the spikes are delicate little yellow flowers.! 12/23/18 Judith Sparhawk
