Old Wagon Days ~ The local camera club took a photo field trip to Keys Ranch, part of Joshua Tree National Park in California. This is the remnants of an old ranch, with buildings, old cars, wagons, farm equipment and desert landscapes to shoot. This old wagon was one of the shots I came back with and enjoyed processing.
~ These old cars are on the property of Keys Ranch, part of Joshua Tree National Park. They seemed very picturesque in the desert landscape.
~ This is a photograph of a hand-cut and hand-assembled collage of the San Bernardino County, California stretch of old Route 66. The first one of these I made was 10 years ago, after a road trip on this 250+ mile stretch of road. I've made and sold several of the collages over the years. 10 years later, to the week, I made the trip again, and re-took many of the images (this time in digital), and used the new images to create new collages. Each one is unique, although within the same theme. They are a huge amount of work, but it is fun creating Route 66 all over again each time.
