Point Reyes Lighthouse

~ Built in 1890, on the foggiest and windiest area in California, on a cliff close down by the water, to be visible to seamen navigating through the fog and along the coast in a rough storm. It is in Marin County, north of San Francisco. To reach the lighthouse, one must climb a steep descent down 315 steps (and back up!).
