This view is of the outer area of one of the several museums that make up the Huntington Library complex in the Pasadena, CA area. I can't recall the name of this one, but it was very pretty in the afternoon light. 1/22/19 Judith Sparhawk
This pavillion type building was in the Chinese Garden at Huntington Library gardens. The name of this structure is Qing Yue Tai, or Clear and Transcendent. It has many ornate features, including the circular doorways. 1/10/19 Judith Sparhawk
The last day of this year, and I will be off the grid for a couple of days. Happy New Year to everyone, and "I'll see you next year!" The Chinese garden at Huntington Library is named The Garden of Flowing Fragrance, where every place, building, bridge or sculpture has specific name symbolic meaning. This part of this building is Qing Fen Zhai, or Studio of Pure Scents. This is a filtered version of the original photograph. 12/31/18 Judith Sparhawk
