I really liked the look of this barn when I drove past, so I made one of my famous U-turns to go back and shoot it. I really liked the look of the flowers spilling out of the side windows. This was in Washington, down the grade from Bellingham. This was way back in film days. Years later, after going digital, I went back to shoot it again, and it was gone! It was a good lesson--shoot it while you can! So I later digitized the negatives and reworked them. 3/19/21 www.sparhawkphotography.com
A view of one of the outdoor corridors at Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights, California. There were so many wonderful things to shoot (don't worry, I won't show them all!). I loved all the colors and intricate details of the architecture. 12/3/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
Quite a few of you mentioned the temple gates yesterday, and how interesting it must be behind the gates. I decided to share a few more shots from the Hsi Lai Temple. This one is of several different decorative roof lines. The temple complex consists of several buildings, all with great architectural details. It was great fun exploring. 12/1/20 My website: www.sparhawkphotography.com
